Frontend Metrics Library
As mentioned in https://twitter.com/arvidkahldev/status/1115014264467668992 , I would love to see the keen.io SDK / JS library to be able to collect and send basic performance metrics supplied by the browser, like TTFP, time to interaction and eventually custom marks and measures, which are all standardized in the window.performance API.
Cached Datasets Improvements
While Cached Datasets are a powerful tool, they have some limits and it can be hard to tell if/when you’re hitting them. We’re working on some changes to surface these error scenarios more quickly and explicitly. We also plan to raise the restriction of 500 intervals, allowing daily Cached Datasets to go back several years. This will enable richer and more flexible experiences for your customer-facing dashboards
Regex (or at least more powerful string matching) filter
A true regex implementation might be difficult due to catastrophic backtracking (https://www.regular-expressions.info/catastrophic.html) but something allowing character classes, wildcards, etc. would be much more powerful than the current `contains` filter, which is fairly inflexible.
Make the 48h trailing update configurable
Customers who stream their requests without any delay should have a possibility to switch off the trailing update in Cached Datasets - it could be a cost saving option. Customers who upload historical data should be able to configure when the trailing update happens i.e. 24h, 7days, ...
